Online Video Games – How Wild Would it Be to Make a Living From Them?

Online video games…we all know the excitement that’s found in that category of business, don;t we?

In 1999, the online multiplayer gaming industry was grossing $2.2 billion dollars. Nice number for the time. But the industry had just been born and perhaps was not ready for what was about to happen next.

In 2006 online video games had suddenly become a $26.2 billion dollar piece of business. And that was during the worst time in the history of the planet in terms of all that happened one awful morning in September of 2001.

That explosion in the business is now reaching a maturity as the projected overall earning from will top $55 billion in 2009!

If you were to chart that growth pattern, it would look largely like a hockey stick with a flat slow and steady early rise leading to a dramatic “straight up” curve in the later years!

And while the software companies themselves were typically the only ones making all that money (with Microsoft’s blessing of course) that suddenly changed for good recently.

In the same way that affiliate marketing dramatically increased the ability of the smaller internet marketer to make huge money, online video games has just recently been put into the hands of those of us looking to cash in.

You can now become a direct distributor of online video games! You can now own websites that will allow you to share these games with others for free and make money with the players who want to upgrade to play more.

And you can even become a large scale distributor of these games and have teams of people out there selling for you with you having the ability to earn money on all of the efforts of the people on your team!

(Let’s hope there isn’t a PAUSE button in sight.)

The online video games business is and will continue to grow lights out. That part is known.

What is less known is that the number one games in the world, online multiplayer soccer, yes soccer, has STILL not come out yet.

When it does, the entire world of online video games will explode even further!
